Shibu Soren resigned – Champai Soren to be ne ...

Jharkhand chief minister Shibu Soren submitted his resignation on Monday. Deputy chief minister Stephen Marandi also resigned from the cabinet. Soren earlier formally announced the name of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) legislator Champai Soren as his successor. Champai Soren is an MLA from Seraikela, was elected JMM legislative party chief at an executive committee meeting.
