Delhi Police sets a website for women

Delhi Police the Special Police Unit Women and Children (SPUWC) sets a official website for women and Children. “Your Right at SPUWC” booklet title also announced by Tripurari Saran Director General Doordarshan. Will Police available online?

National Commission of Women (NCW) Chairperson Mamta Sharma said this project should be cyber- in all the states across country.

Many laws and acts in our country but lack of implementation is the reason for problems faced by women.  Delhi Police to help women should be cyber in all the states so that women at Panchayat and block level can also benefit from it, Sharma said.

Highlighting the requirement of communicating in local languages with the women and children, a website should also be made available in Hindi language.

According to sources, the website to help women in receipt of all the information about redressal and process of complaint filing at SPUWC, said Suman Nalwa, Additional DCP SPUWC.
