Gali Gali Chor Hai 2012 Hindi movie Review
Gali Gali Chor Hai director Rumy Jafry emerged to hit the bull’s eye by picking up the current hot topic like corruption and politics efficiently. The movie seemed dragged too much and the show of the corruption revolving around society makes it a dull effort in parts.
Here is the latest movie coming out from the racks of the Bollywood shoppe and hits the screens today 2012 Feb 3. 2012 Hindi movie Gali Gali Chor Hai special screening as held for social activist Anna Hazare in his native village Ralegan Siddhi. It is also heard that Anna Hazare has said A tight slap is needed when sometimes slapping is the only option, Anna felt after watching the movie Gali Gali Chor Hai.
This new Hindi movie Gali Gali Mein Chor Hai is an Indian satire features potshots at rampant corruption yet thought provoking. Anna Hazare is heard to be have very excited before watching the move and very impressed post viewing film Gali Gali Chor Hai, which is a political satire. The film deals with the current situation about the corruption and the plot has been brilliantly knitted.
A source from the cinema hall reports that this is a decent film and the audience will love the film and every one in India should watch this film as the film supports my message and movement. This film can be viewed by youth, child, all age people in India as it shows off the common man struggles and it motivates every Individual to be a good citizen and have a corrupt free country. Akshaye Khanna, Rumy Jafry and rest of the cast have been expecting the good response for the film and they also hope that if succeeds, and sequel is surely on cards.
It is also seen that some among the audience giving a full attention to the film, laughed, smiled and cried along with my film. And then some stood up and and they even looked to clap for the film. The basic theme and treatment of this political satire is looked very similar to Pankaj Kapur’s popular TV series ‘ Office Office’ which focused on the the common man being attacked by the corrupt system. In the first half the audience hoped that the hero arrive with the taste of their own medicine but unfortunately the get distressed with the role of the actor for being played a looser.
Some scenes are funny but by large the screenplay seems hugely stretched over a single conflict. The minus point of the film and where the narration is is needlessly corrupted with a romantic song and item number – both of which are absolutely rubbish. Not only that thee is also needless track where Bharat’s wife (Shriya Saran) doubts him of having connection with the paying guest (Mughda Godse).
The family drama never looked connected with the corruption theme and the film could have easily done sans a romance track. The Ram Leela episodes could have used its similarity with the central plot more clearly. Akshaye Khanna looked fresh with the form as his performance very convincing that brings out the sensitivity of a common man without overacting it either. Annu Kapoor superbly played as the corrupt constable and is the scene-stealer. Vijay Raaz is funny.
Satish Kaushik, as the plump papa, plays to decent one. Amit Mistry as villain he looked good. Shriya Saran looks gorgeous. Mughda Godse was wasted. Veena Malik’s item number would have used in any other film as it looked vulgar for this plot.
The film is decent film to watch if you are interested in watching the political satire films, other wise its damn boring..
Gali Gali Chor Hai Rating: Average – 2.5/5
