NTPC GATE 2012 Executive Trainee (ET) Recruitment

National  Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) is looking for energetic young Graduate Engineers with brilliant academic record to join the organization as Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation, Electronics. For that NTPC recruiting Executive Engineering Trainee 2012. NTPC Executive Trainees (ET’s) 2012 candidates has to appear for GATE 2012 examination.

A candidate with the prescribed degree identified for the discipline as given below can only apply for the post of Executive Engineering Trainees in the respective disciplines:

Electrical Enginering: Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Electrical, Instrumentation & Control / Power Systems & High Voltage / Power Electronics / Power Engineering

Mechanical Engineering: Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engg/ Production & Industrial Engg/ Thermal / Mechanical & Automation / Power Engineering

Civil Engineering: Civil Engineering

Instrumentation Engineering: Electronics & Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control

Electronics Engineering: Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Power.

Age Limit:

Upper Age limit is 27 years as on 01.01.2012 i.e. candidates born before 01.01.85 need not apply.

Selection process:

Eligible candidates will have to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2012.

Based on the GATE-2012 score and requirement, candidates will be short listed for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Candidates have to secure minimum qualifying marks in GD & interview.

Service Agreement Bond:

Selected candidates who belong to General & OBC categories will be required to execute a service agreement bond of Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rs.1,25,000/- for candidates belonging to SC, ST categories and PWDs) to serve the company for at least 3 years after successful completion of the training.

• Commencement of Online application for GATE-2012: 12.09.2011 (Monday)
• Last date of online application for GATE-2012: 17.10.2011 (Monday)
• Commencement of online Registration of application by candidates 06.01.2012 (Friday) 1300 Hours
• Last date for online registration of application by candidates 26.01.2012 (Thursday) Midnight
• GATE2012 12.02.2012 (Sunday)
