Virender Sehwag has completed 8,000 runs in Test cricket during India’s 1st innings against Australia in the first Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on December 27th, 2011.
Sehwag last innings: 7,980 runs in 92 Tests at an average of 52.15 with 22 centuries and 30 half-centuries.
Virender Sehwag became the 5th Indian batsman to cross the 8,000 runs in Test cricket. The right-handed batsman had scored 83 runs for ICC XI during a match in 2005.
