China test-run super high-speed train @ 500 kmph

China launched a super high-speed train and is capable of travelling 500 kilometers per hour. China’s train maker CSR Corp Ltd has made this 6 car super speed train.

According to reports, China plans to build 13,000 km (8,078 miles) of high-speed passenger rail network by 2012 and 20-odd thousand by 2020. It currently has, as of 2010, 8,000 km (5,000 miles) in service.

This train has a maximum tractive power of 22,800 kilowatts, compared with 9,600 kilowatts for the CRH380 trains presently in service on the Beijing to Shanghai high speed railway holds the world speed record of 300 km/hour.
