  • Hotels still do not display the price list, despite a warning from the district administration.
  • The three toilet complexes in front of the temple are quite inadequate to cater to the demands of the large number of pilgrims.
  • People will come from many places or states but they had a high rates at Sabarimala hotels a driver and a pilgrim who came from Karnataka.
  • Toilet facilities is posing problems for pilgrims arriving at Enchakkal.

New arrangements at Sabarimala Annadanam:

According to reports, the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) authorities to change the arrangements for Annadanam in the sannidhanam has created a mess. Shifting to a new place after the TDB demolishing the old hall where we used to give food for thousands of pilgrims daily. But the new place is also very inconvenient and they can service only a quarter of pilgrims compare to last year.

NGO which used to provide free food to devotees were not allowed to operate this year. To make things worse, the usual slots of hotels in the sannidhanam were shuffled.

Sabarimala is the largest annual pilgrimage in India with an estimated 50 million devotees visiting every year. Every year lakhs of people visit the Sabarimal. Even though Devastanam / Government is not helping for the piligrims of Sabarimala.
