Chidambaram will be sent to Tihar Jail: BJP Demanded

BJP demanded Chidambaram will be sent to Tihar Jail, BJP says A Raja and Chidambaram, and also Home Minister has to go for jail for his role in the 2G scam. Government was stopping the CBI from taking action against the home minister, PM Manmohan Singh in the 2G scam issue.

According to sources, BJP Ravi Shankar Prasad said, This preference being given to Mr Chidambaram in spite of voluminous evidence of his culpability and complicity (in the 2G scam) only demonstrates that different yardsticks are being followed.

Government was stopping the CBI from taking action against the home minister. PM Manmohan Singh in the 2G scam issue, Prasad said: PM needs to answer why 2G spectrum pricing was kept out of the Group of Ministers. CBI action will be taken against Raja and on other suspected if more evidence is found then there will be need to investigate the role of PM in 2G.
