CSIR UGC NET Exam 2011 on 18th December, 2011

CSIR will conducts the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Exam on 18th December, 2011 for determining the eligibility of the Indian National candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET and for determining eligibility for appointment of Lecturers. Final result of this Single MCQ test may be declared in the month of February, 2012 and successful candidates could be awarded from 1 July, 2012.

Important dates for CSIR UGC NET Exam 2011:

1. Date of close of sale of Information by cash at all branches/ stations: 05.09.2011
2. Date of close of On-Line deposit of fee (at All stations): 05.09.2011
3. Date of close of On-Line submission of Applications (at All stations): 06.09.2011
4. Last date of receipt of completed application forms (including duly completed hard copy of on line application in the Examination Unit: 09.09.2011
5. Last date of receipt of (both kind) Completed application forms (from remote areas) 16.09.2011
6. Last Date for receipt of written request for change of Examination Centre only on merit basis 03.10.2011
7. Publication of list of candidates registered for test on CSIR, HRDG website 01.11.2011
8. Last date for entertainment of any representation about non-registration for this test 08.11.2011
9. Start of dispatch of Admission Certificate to eligible candidates last week of November, 2011

Final result of this Single Multiple Choice questions (MCQs) test may be declared sometime in the month of February, 2012 and successful candidates could be awarded from 1 July, 2012.

Subjects of the test:

1. Chemical Sciences,
2. Earth Sciences
3. Life Sciences
4. Mathematical Sciences
5. Physical Sciences

Single paper MCQ based test will be held on Sunday 18th December, 2011:

1st Session:

Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences: 200 marks, timings: 9.00AM-12.00PM, Duration: 3 hrs

2nd Session:

Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Physical Sciences: 200 marks, timings: 2.00 PM-5.00 PM, Duration: 3 hrs

Examination Centres:

The test will be held at 26 Centres all over India: Bangalore, Bhavnagar, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Guntur, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Jamshedpur, Karaikudi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nagpur, Pilani, Pune, Raipur Roorkee, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Udaipur and Varanasi.
