BJP demands the removal of Gujarat governor

BJP demands removal of Gujarat governer, LK Advani on Tuesday led party MPs from Gujarat protesting at Parliament against the appointment of lokayukta in the state by the governor without asking the Narendra Modi and demanded her removal for ignoring recognized rules. Political leaders Advani and 17 BJP MPs from Gujarat protested at the Gandhi statue in Parliament against the appointment of RA Mehta as the lokayukta by Governor Kamla Beniwal.

According to reports, Advani said we are going to meet the President on September 1 or 2 when she returns to the capital. All rules were ignored by the governor like consultation with the chief minister before the appointment or taking the advice of his Cabinet on the issue. The lokayukta was appointed by the governor bypassing all established norms.

BJP leader Advani and his team of MP’s are going to meet the President for removal of Gujarat governor on September 1st. It is a serious matter to Advani and they condemn against the appointment of lokayukta.
