Padmanabhaswamy Temple treasure to be converted into museum?
Padmanabha swamy Temple: Regarding Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Kerala the Supreme Court instructed Government to film (take video) of the process of unearthing the treasure and may be converted into a museum.
The Supreme Court was concerned about the various parties that may come over to claim the treasure. It has even suggested that an experienced curator (from a leading museum in India) should be appointed to take care of the treasure. The artefacts should be conserved in a proper manner – Supreme court said according to reports.
According to reports the Supreme Court will take serious view if anyone tries to claim the ownership of the treasure – which may lead to legal battle.
Should the treasure at Padmanabhaswamy Temple be converted into a museum?
It is advisable to converted yje treasure unearthed at the Padmanabhaswamy Temple to be made a museum as it will help in following
(1) All the artefacts will be ducumented in an inventory list leaving no change for undesirable elements are discouraged.
(2) The artefacts will be well preserved
There are people who are opposing the above move as the treasure belongs to God Padmanabhaswamy and it must remain in the temple.
