MLA’s & MP’s Resigned Today at Assembly for Separate Telangana: Many things happened today at assembly, 33 legislators of Andhra Pradesh’s main opposition TDP from the Telangana region on Monday submitted their resignations. Their demand is for a separate state. Also five legislators of the ruling party congress have resigned. TDP leader T Devender Goud told reporters at outside, all members of his party from Telangana have submitted resignations to Deputy Speaker Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka as Speaker N. Manohar is in the US.
For Separate state Telangana, 49 Congress MLAs, including 11 ministers, and 37 TDP MLAs submitted their resignations to deputy speaker Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday.
Legislators Resignation:
- Three of the TDP legislators faxed their resignations from the US
- Five legislators of the Congress have submitted their resignations
- Four rebel members of the party had sent their resignations
These all members are submitted their resignation to Deputy Speaker Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka as Speaker N. Manohar is in the US. After congress legislators leave from the assembly, after a meeting at Panchayat Raj Minister K. Jana Reddy’s residence.
According to sources, Telangana accounts for 119 legislators in the 294-member assembly. The Congress has 52 members, including two of Praja Rajyam Party (PRP), which recently joined with the ruling party. TDP has 37 members from the region while Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) has 11. Nine MPs of Congress have reached Delhi to submit their resignations to Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar.
Police arranged full security at assembly.
The ruling party legislators who resigned this morning included Vishnuvardhan Reddy, rebel member Konda Surekha and G. Venkat Ram Reddy, who faxed his resignation from the US.
After listening all these the Central leadership invited them to Delhi for talks with Minister K. Venkat Ramreddy told reporters there is no way to go to the capital until the Centre agreed to separate state.
Still six members of telangana are not resigned and from Lok sabha and Rajya sabha also 6 members are not resigned.
33 members submitted their resignation to their authorized persons, they all are doing this for separate state. This is really very bad news to Government. What about Government.
