Govt. meet Ramdev Today : Baba Ramdev Insist on Fast at Delhi’s Ram Lila Maidan

Govt. meet Ramdev Today on June 2, 2011 to convience and stop his fast as Insist on Fast at Delhi’s , which is going to begin on june 4, 2011 (Saturday). Senior Cabinet ministers of Governement including Pranab Mukherjee met Baba Ramdev in the airport itself and had their talks for long time about this issue on yesturday, which is not accepted by Baba Ramdev. So again the goverment wants to arrange a meeting today to stop his fast.

Baba Ramdev said in a statement that Anna Hazre is also with him as the hunger strike will begin on june 4, 2011 (Saturday). According to sources, government has decided it will not allow his public fast to begin at Delhi’s Ram Lila Maidan, if he doesn’t agree to them.

Eventhough the ministers spent more than couple of hours with the yoga guru Baba Ram Dev at the airport, saying him that the government is serious about tackling with a series of measures including new (Citizen’s Ombudsman Bill) which is scheduled to be presented in Parliament by the end of this month, Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Thursday remained adamant on going ahead with a fast from June 4 to demand urgent steps to abstain and bring back .

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev told that Gandhian , who has spearheaded a campaign for a strong anti-corruption Lokpal Bill to support him.

“I talked to Anna Saheb before coming here, there are no differences, we were together and we are together,” he added. Earlier today, Anna Hazare said that he would go to Delhi to join Baba Ramdev’s movement in Delhi and support the agitation. He said that the government would have to agree to the demands made by Ramdev.

Anna asked, “Why did the government not meet Baba Ramdev before he announced the fast?  The government is trying to cheat them.”
