Ek Tha Tiger brings Katrina Kaif back in Salman Khan’s arms
Ek Tha Tiger the upcoming Yash Raj movie has brought Katrina Kaif back into the arms of Salman Khan. Well yes but it may only be on screen. In an announcement today Yash Raj Films has announced Aditya Chopra’s new romantic-thriller – Ek Tha Tiger. The film will star Kat and Sallu and will be directed by Kabir Khan. The film will go to sets in July and will be released in the summer of 2012.

Ek Tha Tiger launch event has happend in Mumbai on 4th May 2011. Present on the ocassion were Aditya Chopra, Yash Raj Chopra, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Kabir Khan. On the ocassion Yashji commented, “Everyone knows my association with Salim saab, having worked together on Deewaar, Trishul and Kaala Patthar. It is a very happy moment for me and YRF to have his son Salman with us for the first time. Over the years, Salman has become a very matured and talented actor and both he and the beautiful Katrina have a tremendous connect with their audiences. Combined with Kabir’s edgy directorial skills, we can all look forward to a thrilling film. I really loved the script which is based on a story written by Adi and I am sure that the whole team will do an excellent job on this project.”
Kat is back in Sallu’s arms
Salman Khan also felt great about working with YRF and has indicated, “In the past Adi and I have met a few times on various projects but somehow, when Kabir and he came to me with this particular story, we all just knew that this was the one. It is a very ambitious project and will be a challenge for all of us, but that’s exactly what makes it such a big draw. Above all this, I’m honoured to be working with Yashji, who has worked so closely with my Dad in the past.”
What Salman did not say that, “I am very happy to work again with Kat(rina) and I am sure this will bring us back together at a personal level also”. Well that was almost there on his face when he was looking at Kat during photo op. So we have written it – we know dil ki baat na.
