Deepika Padukone to play item number in Pawan Kalyan’s new Telugu film Theenmaar after Dum Maaro Dum. Deepika Padukone’s item song has been composed by Mani Sharma in Theenmaar, which is a forthcoming Telugu film directed by Jayanth C. Paranji. According to sources the new movie Theenmaar is a remake of Saif-Deepika starrer Hindi film Love Aaj Kal in 2009, which is a bollywood hindi film.
In Theenmaar Pawan Kalyan and Trisha Krishnan are playing the lead roles, which was earlied referred to as Khushiga and Lovely, before being officially titled as Theenmaar, is scheduled for a April 2011 release. The audio of the film is planned to release on March First week. Gemini TV has bought Theemaar Satellite rights for Rs 5.5 Crores
The shooting commenced on 25 September 2010. With a 10 days schedule in RFC and 40 days schedule in Varanasi, the film’s flashback portions were completed. The next schedule, the last one, as per Ganesh Babu and Karthik, started by November 18 in South Africa.
The remake version ‘Theenmaar’ has Pawan Kalyan and Trisha Krishnana essaying their roles. According to Reports has it that Deepika is friends with the Telugu movie’s director and they had already shot the dancing item number in Hyderabad.
