Australia beat Pakistan in World Twenty20 semi-final – thanks Michael Hussey

at Gros Islet in was really a semi-final with Pakistan batting first and setting a huge target of 192 for Australia to win. To make match it more exciting Australia collapsed to 62 for four. But Mike Hussey’s unbeaten 60 (of 24 balls) made it possible for Aussis to reach finals of World Twenty-Twentty.

Australia needed 18 runs to win from the last over. Off-spinner Saeed Ajmal failed to contain the Australian Mitchell Johnson and Michael Hussey. Australia finished on 197 for seven.

Earlier batting first brothers Kamran Akmal and Umar Akmal both scored fifties as Pakistan scored huge total of 191 for six.

Michael Hussey was of course man of the match. Aussies will now face age-old rivals England on Sunday for final at Kensington Oval in Barbados.
