this year paper was a bit tough so i expect cut off to come down to 170

JEE2010 will surely have a cutoff a bit lesser than JEE2009 AND a bit more than JEE2008 as somewhere in between.since almost all the questions (leave 5 markers) were of 3 marks whereas earlier they used to be of 3 and 4 marks also it will be tougher to get a good score in JEE2010 and having a look at MATHS in JEE2010 is surely going to drop the cutoffs this time—I think around 170-175 it should be…

There is always alimit to everything . when i passed out BSc. in 1975. Government was giving facility to SC/ST tribe. It was acceptable. that to start with let them avail this facility. Good no. of jobs in govt. and vacancies in schools were allotted to them. My father was in govt. service then , he too had to face the indiscrimination becoz junior people of SC/ST tribe was inducted and promoted faster that general workers.
The irony of fate of indian citizen is that even after almost 40 years of this so called upliftment drive for SC/ST is prevalent. Just imagine the magnitute of their upliftment and benefit is really a matter of concern for poor student of this contemporary age . where even after hard labour, they miss the bus due to this bloody disparity in marks secured by general and SC/ST candidates in competitive exams like IIT/AIEEE etc
It’s a high time that this whole bloody system of reservation of SC/ST should be abolished immediately/. and only quotas for disables person should be left .
Please note this is a country of vast culture. and any such injustice to the present students will certainly boomerang in due course. I am writing this as a blog for the reason that my daughter has been a sufferer for all this SC/ST crap.
These lines should be an eye opener to one and all. For the last forty years SC/ST has had enough of benefits and now they are well off. Please note SC/ST are the same species as homo sapiens, they have not come from jungles .or from different planets

Mr. Pandey’s comment on this topic is absolutely correct and worth appreaciating . We are living in dark ages . I fully agree with the views and comments made regarding SC/ST reservation.
