Haiti country earthquake may leave thousands of people dead. Haiti earthquake of 7.0-magnitude on rictor scale struck at 4:53pm. the united nations was quoted saying that on Haiti island a large number of UN personnel are still not traceble. In Haiti earthquakes history this is tha strongest earthquake in more than 200 years. Haiti news is that a hospital building has collapsed, the National Palace has been damaged badly, UN peacekeeper headquarters and other buildings are in rubble while bodies are lying in the streets in a situation of total disaster and chaos.

Reports indicated that on 12 January 2010, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck approximately 10 miles (16 km) away from the capital city Port-Au-Prince. The capital city was devastated by the earthquake.
