Exiledonline.com – Exiled Online report on YSR death plot sparks attacks on Reliance shops & offices

Exiledonline.com the Russian origin online news website Exiled Online has reported the sensational plot behind YSR death. Two of the TV channels in Andhra Pradesh have telecastesd this sensational story (without verifying the facts) from exiledonline.com, which alleged that the Ambanis are involved in the YSR helicopter crash resulting in YSR death. This has fumed the sentiments in AP where YSR fans have attacked on Reliance shops & offices across Andhra Pradesh.

The TV report quoted the the exile newspaper / the exiled (now running as a website) and it linked the alleged killing to YSR’s (YS Raja sekhar Reddy former AP Chief minister’s) refusal to give in to pressure for a lower allocation of gas for AP from the Krishna Godavari basin (KG Basin).

It may be noted that YSR was against the gas distribution among Ambani brothers.

YSR told reporters in July, 2009 – “The dispute over sharing of gas is not an issue to be settled by their mother (Kokilaben). It is for the Centre to decide who should get the gas and at what price,”.

YSR was adamant that natural gas from the Krishan-Godavari (KG) basin operated by Mukesh Ambani Reliance Industries Ltd., (RIL), should be first distributed in Andhra Pradesh.

The report sugested conspiracy just a day after the YSR chopper crash. It said that of all the bodies body of one of the helicopetr pilot was less charred compared to others. Some news papers have reported that there was one less bullet found in the revolver of one of the crew – raising suspicion. Some even linked that some family members of the crew are employed in reliance group. While the Black Box Cockpit Voice Recorder has been recovered, no details have been revealed from it. According to reports the black box has recorded nothing. Some allege that it was sent a bit too late (the black box was found 3/4 days after the search of crash site) which raises the suspision.

The TV news channel in Andhra Pradesh has broadcasted the news without verifying the facts. The website Exiledonline.com has been showing “Error establishing a database connection” message since last evening.

Reliance establishments attacked by YSR fans

Any establishment owned by the Reliance Industries (Mukesh Ambani) and R-ADAG (Reliand Anil Ambani Group) such as Reliance Cell Towers, Reliance communications Web Worlds, Reliance Fresh stores and Reliance petrol pumps were attacked by the YSR supporters. According to reports Reliance Big Cinemas in Tirupati was also attacked. Reliance Fresh establishments were attacked and damaged in Hyderabad, Kadapa, Tirupati, Rajahmundry, Khammam, Karimnagar and Anantapur.

It may be noted that CBI officials investigating the case have so far not reported any evidence to suggest that the crash was due to sabotage. Y S Jaganmohan Reddy – YSR’s son and Kadapa MP appealed to the party workers for not resorting to destruction and assured them that he will appeal to Prime Minister for a CBI enquiry on this issue.

Government of AP should take stern action against those involved in attacks on business establishments. The YSR fans should restrain themselves till the facts are out and do not harm people’s image and property. People have laid their life for the leader and their dignity should be maintained. At the same time it should investigate the allegations of plot. Telangana activists are indicating that this is just an effort to remove the attention of people of AP from Telangana issue.
