Lavina Bhatia actress arrested for murder of actor Kunal Singh

Lavina Bhatia actress has been arrested by Mumbai Police in connection with the murder of actor Kunal Singh. Kunal Singh was found dead in last February when his body was found hanging from the ceiling fan of his rented apartment in Versova Mumbai.

Lavina Bhatia and Kunal Singh have worked together in the film by name Yogi. Apparantly she was in the house for some official work when incident took place.

In August 2009 Bombay high court ordered police to re-look the case after the Kunal Singh’s father, Rajendra Singh has filed a petition that his son was murdered. He suspected murder based on many injury marks on the arms and chest of his body.

“After the court order, the case was re-investigated and a murder case was registered. We suspect the role of Laveena Bhatia in the crime. She was arrested on Sunday under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code,” – Inspector K Gadekar, Versova Police Station said

Kunal Singh worked in films ‘Gangotri and Mai Baap’. Kunal Singh also worked in Tamil film ‘Kadhalar Dinam’ and its Hindi remake ‘Dil Hi Dil Mein’ which was opposite Sonali Bendre.
