CMDA chennai : Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority

CMDA Chennai : The Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority on yesterday began the process of computerising layout preparation in the Chennai Metropolitan Area ( CMDA Chennai ).Approved layout plans for the period from Jan 2000 to Sept 2009 goes online in CMDA Website.

Inaugurating the initiative, Minister for Urban Development Parithi Ellamvazhuthi said the publication of the approved layout plans on the CMDA website would facilitate in the public knowing about the availability of approved plots for purchase.

It would also help them know the correctness of the approval details of the plots. “It’s a landmark in our pursuit of e-governance,” said CMDA Vice-Chairman Susan Mathew. The CMDA had been consistently taking efforts to publish approved plans online. Member-Secretary Vikram Kapur participated.
