India vs Australia match called off

India vs Australia match was called off and with this India’s semi-final chances on Monday suffered a big shock as rain led to the abandonment of their Group A Champions Trophy match against Australia, forcing them to split points at SuperSport Park. With this they are almost out of the Champions Trophy. The only way they can reach semis is if India beat the West Indies by a big margin on Wednesday and Pakistan too beat Australia by a good margin on the same day. With Pakistan’s already in the last-four stage with yesterday’s result – they will be relaxed in their match against Aussies.

Electing to bat Australia were at 234/4 in 42.3 overs when rains started. The unrelenting rain turned the stadium into a virtual pool and lightning struck one light tower as well.

Now only God and Pakistan can help India!
