Earthquake – another tremor felt in northeast India on Tuesday early morning this time an earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale. The quake was felt at 1.08 am on Tuesday with the epicentre located along Myanmar. And the tremors were felt in northeastern states of India – Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Manipur. This is just 12 hours after a 6.3 magnitude earthquake at 2.23 pm on Monday rocked Bhutan and India’s northeastern states. Todays tremor is sixth such tremor since Aug 11 to in the northeastern region.
There are over 11 people reported dead in Bhutan in the quake yesterday.
