YSR dead – 5 bodies recovered near YSR’s chopper which crash landed near Kurnool – Andhra Pradesh CM dead
YSR is dead as the authorities have recovered 5 bodies near YSR’s chopper which crash landed on a hill near Kurnool in NallaMalla forests. Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy was travelling from Hyderabad to Chittoor in a Helicopter yesterday. The news is confirmed by Prime Ministers Office.
YSR’s chopper was located near 40 nautical miles east of Kurnool according to Indian Air Force. Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy’s Helicopter has been located on top of a hill.
Rescue Mission went on for 24 hours
Soon after the chopper lost contact, many government agencies of the state and center including Army and Air Force have launched a massive hunt for survivors or possible wreckage in the desolate terrain. It was country’s biggest-ever search operation with satellites in the sky joining remote sensing aircraft, fighter jets, unmanned aerial vehicles, troops on the ground and even tribals.
