Kaminey (In englishi it means Rascals) is the much awaited Bollywood film that stars Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles. It is directed by Vishal Bharadwaj, who has also co-authored the script. Ronnie Screwvala of UTV Motion Pictures has produced the film.

Kaminey story
Kaminey is about twin brothers Charlie and Guddu (Shahid Kapoor in double role), both of whom suffer from speech impediments and they hate each other.
Guddu is a NGO worker, who stammers while speaking. Guddu’s is meticulus and has life plans made till 2014 on a chart pasted in his cupboard. But his plans are shattered when he impregnates Sweety (Priyanka Chopra) his girlfriend who never told him that she is the sister of a big time Gangster cum politician, Bhope (Amol Gupte).
Charlie is a small gangster, who pronounces S as F. Charlie gets a guitar containing cocaine worth 10 crore and thinks he has finallymade it to the big league.
What comes next is a gripping journey through Mumbai streets. The streets which have many Kamineys like corrupt policemen, drug dealers, henchmen, informers and agents. Finally the two brothers though having separate story lines meet at a point in film and they are forced to come together however they hate each other.
Though the movie is a bit confusing in the first 10 minutes and you have to concetrate hard to learn about the ten key characters of the film. You can not afford to miss even half a minute of the film as in thet 30 seconds you might have missed something of importance or a twist in the tale.

Kaminey Review
The first half of the film is very sow and you may get slightly bored. The movie picks up the pace after the interval when the storeyteller moves the threds togather for a superb climax. What I like most about the film is that it is not a typical Hindi movie – predictable. It makes you think and wonder what is up next and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Kaminey is like an action movie and black humor whipped togather in a Sundae.
Though the concept of the film is old – two twins – bhai bhai but the difference is that unlike typical bollywood masala – these twins are not separated at birth, nor they have that bhai bhai feeling and they can even kill each other for personal gain.
Shahid Kapoor has done great in the role and one can say that he has now matured as an actor. Priyanka Chopra as Sweety is again I can say one of the best roles she has played in her life.
Music is good and riveting as required by the situation in movie. It is unlikely that you come out of seeling this movies and do not do “Dhan te Naan” at least once. The duo of Vishal Bharadwaj and Guljar has done a great job.
What I can see this movie as a strong contender for filmfare awards this year in almost all categories. Vishal Bharadwaj is sure going to repeat the success like Omkara. If you are a typical Masala lover – you may not find this digestive but still I recommed you this film as it is worth having some digestive problem. Who knows it may change your taste.

Ronnie Screwalla, surely has screwed the brains of people in dubai. theater were 50% less occupied, 2 hrs now have come from the theater, my head and my whole family head has spun , need a panadol, advise all u people out there please dont watch the movie with your family,
If your mood is good, dont go to watch this F….in Screwdriver movie. Your whole day is on the ball of fire.
Show some respect to the movies. Shaid your carrers is at stake. dont fall for Screwalla and his team.
