Sania Mirza winning streak continues – and it seems the engagement has brought her charm in the court back. Sania Mirza easily moved into the quarter finals of the $175,000 Oldum Brown Vancouver Open in Canada. Sania Mirza (Top seed) beat American Laura Granville 6-2, 6-4.

Granville (once among the top 30 on the WTA rankings), could not handle the power packed shots of the Indian especially the strong forehand.

In the quarter-finals, Sania will play local favourite Rebecca Marino who managed to win over eighth seed Olivia Rogowska of Australia in two contesting sets, 7-5, 7-6 (0).
