Tata Docomo to launch GSM service in Andhra Pradesh and other south Indian states
Tata Docomo, the GSM brand of Tata Teleservices Limited will be launching its service in Andhra Pradesh and other south Indian state; after having the launch of its service in Karnataka on 9th July. Tata Docomo has already launched services in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Orissa and the entire south India is set to go “live” next week. In Karnataka, the GSM service covers 427 towns and 2,642 villages, including in areas of railway lines and highways.
Pay for what you use – One second Pulse
The company’s GSM service offers “pay-for-what-you-use” model, with a pulse of one second, and a pricing of one paise per second.
One paisa per second – all over India
Subscribers can call anywhere in India for just one paise per second.
When the Tata Docomo officials were asked about the financial viability of offering GSM service at one paise per second and pay-for-what-you-use model when other operators offer it on per-minute basis. The Tata Teleservices Ltd Managing Director Anil Sardana said the service has “unleashed usage” in the circles it has been launched with the company not only confident of beating its own internal targets but also surpassing them.
Pan India launch before this year end
This will be followied by pan India launch with an investment of $ 2 billion for rolling out the services across the country.

You are right. That’s really amazing ! first its kind ever given by any other operator so far but it’s tata who made it true. earlier with 2year incoming free in prepaid sector first time all other followed next… and gone to life long incoming in GSM prepaid. Now in another dimension.Sure ! Tata docomo would delight its customers with its great service.
