Vinod Kambli accuses Sachin Tendulkar of not helping him in Sach ka Saamna

andrea_kambli_and_vinod_kambli accused Sachin Tendulkar of not helping him in reality TV show . Vinod Kambli and Sachin Tendulkar have one of most enduring friendships in the world of cricket which has developed cracks. Vinod Kambli threw his friendship in vein by saying this in a TV show that goes on air this week.

There are insider reports of the show which indicate that Kambli said his childhood chum Tendulkar didn’t lend a helping hand during his downward spiral, which was also marked by self-destructive behaviour.

“We are very close… we were very close. He could have done a little more, but he didn’t” he said in reply to a query on his friendship with Tendulkar during a polygraph (lie detector) test which is part of the show.

Kambli last featured in a Test in 1995 (India vs New Zealand at Cuttack) when he was just 23. The maverick Mumbai left-hander’s ODI career, which included nine comebacks, lasted longer as he played his last match in 2000 at Sharjah.

Vinod Kambli replied YES when he was asked whether Sachin is embarrassed to accept him as a friend now. There were also questions about Vinod kambli’s first wife and his new wife a Model who he married in 2008.

Kambli also made comment at the BCCI. “I always felt discriminated because of my caste and colour by the cricket board”

About Vinod Kambli

Kambli was born in Mumbai. He rose to prominence, when he shared an unbroken partnership of 664 in a school match with Sachin Tendulkar. Kambli contributed 349* before their coach Acharekar forced the pair to declare. Kambli, who started his Ranji trophy career with a six off the first ball he faced, soon followed Sachin in to the Indian team. Kambli had a exciting start to his test career making two double-centuries and two centuries in just seven tests. However, he lost his touch midway through his career and was subsequently dropped from the team. His technical insecurity against fast short-pitched bowling, and disciplinary problems, militated against his selection. He played in his last Test match aged just 24.
