Budget 2009 India – Markets crash by over 600 points

Budget 2009 India has resulted in a collapse of Indian Stock Markets. The Indian markets dived on Monday as market players were disappointed with the union budget presented by the Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee.

  • National Stock Exchange’s Nifty - 4197.80 (down 226.45 points or 5.12 %)
  • Bombay Stock Exchange’s Sensex - 14316.70 (down 603 points)
