MBBS rank list of mgr medical university for admission into various colleges offeeing MBBS courses is announced by tnhealth. The mbbs rank list 2009 is available at the website of TN health -

• 1,483 seats in government medical colleges
• 348 seats are part of the government quota in private medical colleges
• 560 seats are available with private, self-financing medical colleges
• Cut-off mark for OCs alone this year is 197.25
• Last year’s cut-off was 196.75
• Nine students those scored 200/200.
• Other cut-off marks will be announced later
• 85 BDS seats are available in the Government Dental College
• 783 seats are available in 11 private dental colleges
• First phase of Counselling for MBBS / BDS Course will be conducted from 6.7.2009 as per schedule

The candidates will be called as per merit, and allotted seats of their choice, based on availability of seats and colleges, following the rule of reservation. Individual call letters will also be sent to the students.
