Mhada lottery begins at Rangsharada Auditorium, Bandra (W) – MHADA website to be updated with results

Mhada lottery is to be announced today May 19. Mhada lottery process has already begin at 9 am and will conclude by 7 pm. The applications were shuffled yesterday evening in presence of the oversight committee and the data machinery will be sealed.

As the lottery is under way at 9.00am, the name of each winner is flashing on screen for exactly 33 seconds. For the first time, Mhada is releasing the actual flat number that each individual has won, not just the location and the apartment building. The information will be immediately archived on the notice boards set up nearby and will figure on the Mhada website after that lottery session is over.

Since the seating capacity of the auditorium isonly about 600, Mhada will also make arrangements to display the results on LCD screens outside.

Those who were unlucky this time round, here’s a piece of good news: Mhada will be holding a second lottery of an additional 5,000 apartments by November this year at various places such as Sion, Chunabhatti and Malwani.
