Honda Jazz – the hatchback small car from Honda to be Sold in India for Rs 5.5 – 7 Lakh?

Honda Jazz the hatchback small car of Honda Seil Cars India (HSCI) is going to be launched in India in the month of June. With the launch of Jazz, HSCI will enter into hatchback category market in India.

Though it is not revealed yet the Honda Jazz is likely to be the most expensive petrol hatchback in Indian market having a price tag somewhere between Rs 5.5 lakh to 7 lakhs

With the introduction of Jazz, Honda will enter into direct competition with other players in Indian market including Skoda, Tata Motors, Ford and Hyundai.

• Honda has incorporated a special engine in the car to cater to the Indian conditions. The new Honda Jazz comes with a 1.2 litre engine for Indian conditions.
• Honda Jazz also comes with a toughened suspension to bear the condition of Indian roads.
• The car will also use Honda pioneered V-Tec technology for high fuel efficiency. This technology has also been incorporated in Honda City.
• The Honda Jazz has been developed to ensure proper legroom and headroom space.
• Other features of Honda Jazz include
  • customized navigation system
  • in-car entertainment
  • sporty tyres.

The company is also expected to launch a diesel variant of Honda Jazz.
