AIEEE 2009 paper was held across India on 26th April 2009. All the details regarding the paper along with the expected AIEEE 2009 cutoff will be posted right here after the exam.
We talked to many students and it seems that there was a major change in the pattern of the paper which has taken them by surprise.
The changes pattern of AIEEE 2009
The total marks of the AIEEE 2009 paper were 432. There were three sections (PCM) and each section had 30 questions which means 90 questions in total. There were 6 questions of 8 marks each and 24 questions of 4 marks each in the each section. there was a negative marking of 25% which means 4 mark questions had -1 mark for incorrect answer while the 8 mark questions had -2 marks for incorrect answer.
If you compare this with last year the paper had 35 questions in all three subjects and each question carried 3 marks for correct answer and -1 mark for incorrect answer. The total paper was of 315 marks.

Toughest section
Which section was toughest depends on the preparation of individual students on each subject. However many were saying that compared to last year Maths was the toughest, followed by Chemistry and then Physics.

I secured 187 marks in AIEEE 2010. I belong to OBC category but while filling the application mistakenly I opted General category.
The cutoff for Gen category is 55 , for OBC it is 33 and I got 54 in BE/Btech paper.
