Satyam employees and customers deserting company? Leaving for rivals?

There are reports that about 13,000 employees may have quit troubled IT outsourcing company Satyam Computers. Some are evenpoached by clients and others left to work for rival IT firms. A count of workforce of Satyam stood at 40,000 by the end of March, down from 53,000 at the start of the year.

There have been many recent instances in which Satyam employees have left along with clients who ended their relationship with the company. According to reports about 250 to 300 Satyam workers will be joining Bank of America to work on a Satyam project for Merrill Lynch which was acquired by the US bank.

Satyam is struggling for survival since its founder admitted to falsifying profits. There is a bidding process going on and about eight bidders are doing due diligence on company to quote a price for same.
