Teenage girl committs suicide in Mangalore after alleged Moral policing
This is very tragic. Reports indicate that, a teenaged girl allegedly committed suicide after some miscreants publicly humiliated the girl for being friend with a Muslim boy and handed both of them to police.
Sixteen-year-old student of class ninth at the Aikala High School in Kinnigoli, near Mangalore, along with her friend had gone to Maroor near Moodabidri in a bus on Tuesday afternoon. A group of suspected Moral Policing activists (the group has not been identified) stopped the bus and took them to Maroor police station. Police then called girl’s parents and handed her over to them.
Unable to bear the humiliation, the girl committed suicide by hanging herself at her house on Wednesday night.
Dragging women out of buses has become a norm in mangalore it seems. The case is similar to the kidnap of the daughter of a Kerala CPI-M MLA, who was dragged out of a bus while she was talking to her muslim male friend.
The issues related to handling minor people needs to be understood clearly by people in our country. Even if someone has done mistake – we can not humiliate people by taking them in full public view to police like petty criminals. A 16 year old youngster is very sensitive – and proper precautions should be taken. The people who have taken the girl to Police Station should be booked under for leading a person to suicide.

Who has given them the right to do such acts in the name of Moral Policing ? Who ever is doing these thing is having vulgar crimal records of their own. God has given none the right to make, other to live in fear.
Attack on women mean, he is attacking his mother. Shouting “Jai Mahatha Ki” and attacking on women does not really make any sence.
The main fact is, who ever wants to become the ruler, needs to control the mob and to do this he should need an ideology by which he can mobilise a unit to inject fear and displine among the mass, so that everything move as he thinks.
