XCD 135 DTS-Si – the new Executive Segment bike from Bajaj Auto

Bajaj Auto this week launched its executive segment bike XCD 135 DTS-Si. The details are as follows:

• Model: XCD 135 DTS-Si
• Price: Rs. 45,000
• Engine: 10.5 brake horsepower (bhp)
• Manufactured at plants in Aurangabad (Maharashtra)and Pantnagar (Uttarakhand)
• Capacity: 20,000 units per months

The bike will be exported worldwide. Bajaj Auto is also planning to launch sports bike Ninja 250 from its technology partner Kawasaki soon which would be priced over Rs. 2 lakh. It is also proposing to launch motorcycles from Austrian bike maker KTM, in which Bajaj Auto has over 25 per cent stake.
