Pressure is mounting on Andhra Pradesh government to arrest Satyam Computer’s disgraced former chief Ramalinga Raju, two days after he resigned and admitted to a massive fraud.
According to reports – Police yesterdat stated that there is no complained filed aganint him. But police (if they want) can file a suo motu case. Or may be they are waiting for him to run away? Or whether there are some political compulsions?
Why no political party is asking for action?
Surprisingly except for BJP no other political party has raised any hue and cry on Satyam fiasco. May be the affected people are not their vote banks. Or there sre some vested interests considering the closeness B ramalinga rau had with N Chandrababu Naidu and then YS rajashekhar Reddy. It can be recalled that YS Rajashekhar Reddy (the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh) has almost given a clean chit to Raju as recent as a week back.
CBI inquiry?
The final decision to arrest Raju obviously lies in the hands of Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S R Reddy. There were reports of CBI inquiry to be instituted for the fraud – we all know what happens to cases with CBI.
Ramalinga Raju is in Hyderabad
On Thursday, Ramalinga Raju’s lawyer said his client was in Hyderabad and ready to face any legal action.
